The K-10 is a simple checklist that aims to measure whether you may have been affected by depression and anxiety during the past four weeks.
This assessment tool consists of 10 items with a scale of 5 response options ranging from none of the time to all of the time. Please read each item carefully and tick a box next to each question that best reflects your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
For all questions, please select the appropriate response. These questions concern how you have been feeling over the past 4 weeks.
How is it scored?
Please remember that this is not a diagnosis, but it can give you a better sense of how you’re feeling. You may find it beneficial to discuss these results confidentially with a counsellor. To book an appointment, please call 1300 364 273 or lodge a request via the Contact Us page.
The K10 uses a five value response option for each question – all of the time, most of the time, some of the time, a little of the time and none of the time which can be scored from five through to one.
The maximum score is 50 indicating severe distress, the minimum score is 10 indicating no distress.
