More than 3,000 Australians die by suicide each year . This is on average, eight Australians a day. On top of that, more than 65,000 suicide attempts are made each and every year.
During this informative and eye-opening workshop, participants will gain real insight into the prevalence of suicide in Australia and how it impacts the workplace. Each person will learn the necessary steps involved in confidently managing situations involving someone at risk of suicide. In addition, participants learn what preventative strategies can be implemented in the workplace to help create a mentally healthy, supportive work environment.
